Jelly Roll shows off his 110lb weight loss as he poses with his wife Bunnie XO at the 2024 CMA Awards Jelly Roll showed off his 110lb weight loss as he posed with his wife Bunnie XO at the Country Music Association Awards this Wednesday. The 39-year-old recently detailed how he went from a tour culture of 'alcohol and drugs' to embracing physical fitness and healthier foods in an interview with People. Now, after overhauling his lifestyle and surpassing his goal of dropping 100lbs, the singer proudly displayed his new figure at this week's awards show. He and his wife were among the cavalcade of country music luminaries who flooded into Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for the event. Glowing with happiness, Jelly wore a simple short-sleeved top over a black t-shirt as he stood for a snap with Bunnie XO and songstress Megan Moroney. Jelly emphasized his trimmed-down figure in black when he hit the stage that evening to deliver a rendition of Believe, his song with Brooks + Dunn. He layered a black jacket over a matching top and trousers for the performance, as well as a cross in keeping with the song's religious theme. The Nashville native also took the stage that night alongside Keith Urban, with whom he performed the song Liar from Jelly's new album Beautifully Broken. In a stirring special effect, flames burst up behind the two men as they sang, throwing Jelly's figure into sharper relief. Jelly recently covered People and shared with the magazine that he believes he's dropped 60-70 pounds alone since beginning his Beautifully Broken tour in August. He's now opened up about how he stays fit on the road - a departure from the partying lifestyle he was once engrained in. The musician has reassessed his relationship with food - and is now reaping the benefits. 'The battle was with the food addiction, changing the way I’ve looked at food for the last 39 years,' he told the magazine. 'I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food, so that was the hard part. But once you get into that discipline and commitment, it’s like an avalanche. Once that little snowball started rolling, it was on its way.' Jelly said he plays basketball with his crew everyday on tour and he's made healthy eating and exercise a top priority during his tour. 'It’s cool because there was once a time in life that the culture I built on tour was the opposite. It revolved around alcohol and drugs,' he said. 'And now our tour culture is around good eating and around exercising and doing emotional check-ins with our crew every day.' #jellyroll #weightloss
