Sildenafil is not Cialis. It's normal to be confused about the options. The words and the names can be pretty confusing with the different medications on the market. What we're talking about today is Sildenafil, better known as Viagra, ▪ and Tadalafil, better known as Cialis. ▪ Viagra and Cialis are the brand names of the generic version, the active ingredient, ▪ Sildenafil, and the active ingredients in the other drug, Tadalafil, which I'll discuss in more detail here. To make it clear, they're not interchangeable.
