The Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) has
received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Capacity
Development Project on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism in West
Africa Transition States (CD4AML/CFT) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this
grant to payments under the contract for the recruitment of consultants to develop/review
Operational manuals (OMs)/ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Financial Intelligence
Units (FIUs) of Comoros, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Liberia.

The services included under this project are – to develop a comprehensive OM/SOPs that will facilitate the generation and dissemination of robust financial intelligence by the four (4) GIABA member FIUs to support end users’ operational needs.
