ROLE OVERVIEW Under the Supervision of the Principal Program Officer Natural Resources, the incumbent will be Contributing to the creation of a sub-regional institutional and legal environment conducive to the implementation of the ECOWAS Sub-Regional Action Program to Combat Desertification (SRAP). Assist the Head of Division in the implementation of the Multilateral Environmental Agreements and related protocols. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Sciences, or related fields from a university of recognized standing. · 5 years of relevant professional responsible experience dealing with environment issues. · Knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and approaches relevant to corporate sustainability and environment. · Proven experience in technical guidance, situation analysis and environmental impact assessments; · Demonstrates professional competence and mastery of subject matter.
